Oily Skin Simplified Skincare Guide | Say goodbye to greasy acne-prone skin, and embark on the journey to achieving a refreshing, matte skin look

As a "proven oily skin type", I fully understand the pain of having a face that is oily enough to cook food in the morning! Previously, I always thought that oily skin types needed to "strongly control oil", and follow the trend by using all kinds of powerful cleansing products. However, this only made the skin oilier and caused a lot of closed pores and acne. Later, I realized that the core problem of oily skin is not "too much oil", but "water and oil imbalance". Excessive oil control will only make the skin secrete more oil to "protect itself". Today, I will share a simple yet effective skincare routine for oily skin sisters, allowing you to easily say goodbye to greasiness and develop a clear and fresh makeup-free skin! 
The core principles of oily skin skincare: thorough cleansing without overdoing it, non-heavy hydration, and combining oil control and anti-inflammatory. Avoid complicated steps, and each step must be "precise and effective". 
Face wash: Choose "sensitive amino acid face wash" and avoid soap-based products. Many oily skin sisters think that soap-based face wash cleans well, but long-term use can damage the skin barrier, leading to water and oil imbalance. Now I use Furifrance Nourishing Cleansing Cream, although it is an amino acid-based face wash, its cleaning power is completely sufficient. After washing, the skin feels refreshing and not tight, and the oil in the T-zone can also be thoroughly cleaned. If the skin is not particularly oily in the morning, you can even use plain water to wash your face, reducing the irritation to the skin. 
Toner: Choose "oil-control and hydrating type", avoiding thick textures. For oily skin, toner should also balance "hydration" and "oil control". I will choose toners containing ingredients such as rosehip, tea tree essential oil, and niacinamide. For example, Orlin Health Water, it has a refreshing and non-thick texture, absorbs quickly, and when applied with a cotton pad to the T-zone for 5 minutes, it can effectively relieve oiliness and redness; for daily commutes, I will put the toner in a spray bottle, and when my skin feels oily, I can spray it on for a moment of refreshing. 
Serum: Prioritize "oil-control and anti-inflammatory type", avoid thick serum. Oily skin does not need to stack too many serums, just choose one targeted oil-control and anti-inflammatory serum. I have been using Shu Uemura Color Repair Serum, it is light and quickly absorbed, effectively improving oiliness and closed pores problems; if the budget is limited, you can also choose The Ordinary's Niacinamide Serum, which has high性价比 and, if used consistently, can regulate the skin's oil secretion and make the skin feel more refreshing. 
Lotion/Cream: Choose "refreshing type", avoid moisturizing type. Many oily skin sisters think that "oily skin doesn't need to apply lotion/cream", but in fact, oily skin also needs hydration, just choose the right texture. I will choose lightweight gel-like or lotion-like products, such as Kora Moisturizing Lotion (refreshing type), which absorbs quickly, after applying, the skin feels refreshing without greasiness, and can lock in moisture, preventing the skin from secreting more oil due to lack of moisture. 
Sunscreen: Choose "oily skin-specific refreshing sunscreen", avoid causing acne. When choosing sunscreen for oily skin, you must pay attention to "refreshing without causing acne", I prefer physical combination sunscreen, such as Shiseido Blue Mano Sunscreen, it forms quickly, refreshing without being sticky, sufficient for daily commutes; if spending a long time outdoors, it is recommended to choose SPF50+ PA+++ sunscreen, apply every 2-3 hours. 
Additional precautions for oily skin: ① Do not wash your face frequently, no more than 2 times a day, excessive washing can damage the skin barrier; ② Regularly clean pores, use 1-2 times a week of cleansing masks (such as Kiehl's White Mud Mask), clean the dirt in the T-zone pores, but do not use frequently; ③ Have a light diet,少吃spicy, fried and sweet foods, drink more warm water, avoid staying up late, all of these will affect the skin's oil secretion. 
Follow this simplified skincare routine for 1-2 months, you will find that the oiliness of your skin has significantly decreased, closed pores and acne will gradually disappear, and you can easily have a refreshing makeup-free skin!
